1.  It is homecoming week here at school....holy cow!!  We have gotten to dress up in pajamas, sports jerseys, and today we walk to a park and have a pepfest - sounds great to me! So much time outside should be awesome! I wish I had gotten pictures of this week - I will get better!

2. If you like dressing up or repping your grade level check out my Teacher Shirt Giveaway! Happening now! Enter at the bottom of this post...chances are if you are a reader then you are already a follower which is 1 entry!!

Here's a model if you need a visual:

We love his sweatshirt!!

3.  We have also been doing apple week stuff like every other elementary classroom! We did some simple tasting, graphing and describing ..nothing too fancy but they loved it! Such a fun integrated way to teach concepts.  I think I'm catching on to this whole theme idea ;)

Who else is surprised that green apples won?! I'm more of a yellow person myself!!

4.  I have been going Christmas Crazy lately.....making gifts, starting shopping lists...is this a newlywed thing....maybe its just sudden craftiness?? It's only September...
Here's a sneak peak.....shhhhhh!!!

5.  One reason I love fall is the ...candy! I'm worse than kindergarteners!!  Break out the candy corn and caramel and I'm a happy woman :)  Bring on fall Ya'll!!

  2. What an absolutely lovely Five for Friday read! It's definitely not just a newly wed thing, I've been buying christmas presents and making gift tags already!

We're definitely just super organised people! Only 13 weekends to go till Christmas! Hahah

Such cute graphs too! Yellow apples are never a contender over here in the UK!

    Best wishes,

  3. Hi Amber! I just found your blog and am your newest follower! I am actually surprised at the apple choice, myself. :) We had homecoming week, too with the dressing up days. That's fun because I don't have to decide what to wear! OH- have you tried the candy corn M&Ms??? IF not- go get some!!! :)
