A Day in My Shoes

I'm linking up with TBA for:

Ruby Red Slippers

I'm going to go with my camp schedule since I don't have a real teaching one yet!  Soon though - fingers crossed!

6:30 wake-up : I'm one of those people that wakes up before alarm and usually turns it off.  I'm a morning person.  Continue getting ready and shower.

7:00 eat breakfast - YUM! Pack lunch

7:35 rush around and get everything ready to leave.  For some reason I always wait till the last minute and then rush all around.

8:00 be at work.  Clock in.

8 -9 My first class.  Group that just finished kindergarten

9-10 3rd grade and up

10-10:30 A preschool class

10:30 - 11 another preschool class

11-12:30 plan time or help out with lunch shifts or field trips

12:30 -1 group going into kindergarten

1-2 group just finishing 1st and 2nd grade.

2 - GO HOME TIME! My time to paint and work on fun new projects.  I don't mind getting off then to get all my errands done either.

Check out my cute tootsies! Mom and I got pedicures before her surgery (she wanted her feet to look good).  I got summery flowers on my big toe.  Isn't it a miracle what wonders a pedicure can do for your mood?

That's a pretty typical day in my shoes for summer anyway!  Pretty packed and a wide variety of ages too, but I love every minute of it- getting to try all these things for my classroom someday!  Check out the Freebies tab  or  camp ideas (left side) for some awesome things we've done this summer.

  1. I don't like rushing around so I get my clothes out in the morning, make my lunch, pack my stuff and stack it by the front door. The fiancee' always makes fun of me for my routine but it sure saves time and stress!

I am your newest follower! I hope you'll check out my manly new blog!
